The West 7th/Fort Road Federation has formed a Park Naming Committee to select one or more names to be presented at our Annual Meeting in April as the preferred community name for the park currently referred to as "Victoria Park".
The committee will meet three times from February to March 2025.
The committee will cover information from a previous process followed beginning in 2015. This process was previously unsuccessful due to a few factors. We hope to establish specific metrics in this process that will provide for a successful outcome at the May 2025 Parks & Recreation Commission meeting.
We are currently accepting proposed names from the community for consideration.
