The Fort Road Federation coordinates a community garden located at the northeast corner of Jefferson Avenue and Victoria Street. It's just south of I-35E.
The garden has water on-site and is near the Pleasant Avenue Yard Waste drop off site.

**All plots for the 2024 season have been reserved**
Registration dates for 2024:
Returning gardeners renewing the SAME plot - Today through March 3.
Returning gardeners who will rent a DIFFERENT plot - March 4 - March 10
New gardeners from West 7th / Fort Road Federation neighborhood - March 11 - March 24
New gardeners - March 25 until plots taken
Garden plots are $40 for the year and include commitments to help with communal spaces.

The Fort Road Community Garden started as a way to both give gardening opportunities to neighbors and turn a vacant property next to the freeway into a community asset.
