  • ​Adult Enrichment through Saint Paul Public Schools

Transportation, Health & Medical Programs

  •  Metro Mobility
  • Jewish Family Services (JFS) has launched a new program providing transportation in and around St. Paul and its suburbs for people 18 and older who cannot drive or who have limited access to transportation. JFS services are not restricted by religion.  Details
  • Rainbow Health has created an online directory called the Violet Directory for providers who
    want to connect LGBTQ+ seniors, and those living with HIV with available and supportive
    healthcare options. The directory includes medical care, HIV testing sites, HIV-related public
    programs, and LGBTQ+ aging-friendly services in Minnesota.
  • Community Alternative Response Emergency Services (CARES) - An Alternative Emergency Response to Mental Health Crisis and Behavioral Emergencies. The CARES Team responds to non-violent mental health crisis and behavioral emergencies within the City of Saint Paul.  CARES responds to calls citywide on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • ​Help at Your Door - helping seniors and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their homes.

  • Emergency Rehab Loans from the City of Saint Paul
  • ​Housing Benefits 101 MN - helps people who need affordable housing, and supports to maintain that housing, understand the range of housing options and support services available. HB101 can help you make choices about where you want to live. It can also help you figure out a long-term housing plan that works for you, and the steps to move toward your housing goals.
  • Minnesota Homeownership Center - Long-term homeownership builds wealth. The Minnesota Homeownership Center offers free advisor services and other resources to help you buy a home, and one-on-one help to prevent foreclosure when times are tough.
  • NeighborWorks Home Partners Home Improvement Programs - we have a variety of home improvement loan programs to help Saint Paul homeowners repair their homes.
  • Ramsey County Home Improvement Programs - Ramsey County offers help to homeowners with energy efficiency, weatherization and repair projects.
  • Senior LinkAge Line - 800-333-2433 Senior LinkAge Line is a free statewide service of the Minnesota Board on Aging in partnership with Minnesota’s Area Agencies on Aging. The Senior LinkAge Line provides help to older Minnesotans and their families and caregivers, helping them connect to local services, find answers and get the help they need.
  • Age Well at Home - Transforming homes into safe, smart spaces for aging adults. Closing a big gap with small changes. Every 11 seconds someone is treated in an emergency room for a fall that could have been prevented by simple modifications like improved lighting, grab bars, and non-slip mats.

Neighborhood Service Organizations

 Keystone Community Services offers a variety of programs and resources for seniors in the neighborhood.

Jewish Family Services - JFS Aging and Disability Services ensure clients and their caregivers have the support, information and services they need to remain living successfully and safely in their own homes. JFS works in partnership with many other health care systems, programs and organizations to help clients live full and meaningful lives; contribute their wisdom and experience in the communities where they are rooted; and engage in intrinsically meaningful activities.

  • AARP or the Minnesota Chapter of the AARP - Help specific for seniors: Request a call from a volunteer, coordinating care for a loved one, mutual aid documents.
