Explore West 7th Street's past using SpyGlass software. Here how:
Click on the button below. Move the circle tool – the spyglass -- around the map to reveal the 1891 map underneath present day satellite imagery. The map reaches from Chatsworth St in the west, to Downtown in the east, to the Mississippi to the south, and roughly follows the path of I-35E in the north.
Another way to navigate the map is to use the tools at the top corners of the map. In the top left corner you can use the plus and minus buttons to zoom in and out. If you click on the scope button below and click yes on the window that appears asking if ArcGIS Online can use your location, the spyglass will automatically move to your current location (if you are not in the West 7th neighborhood, it will not show the 1891 map underneath). In the top right corner there is a search bar where you can type place name or address and press enter to center the spyglass on that location. Have fun exploring!
